 जल महल हा शब्द ऐकला की आपल्या डोळ्यासमोर येत ते निळाशार पाणी, त्या अथांग पाण्यात सुंदर असा महाल आणि नैसर्गिक सुंदरता डोळे,  दिपुन जावं अस काहीसं पण आजच्या आधुनिक युगात बांधलेली धरणे सहज फुटून जातात

 त्यामुळं जीवहानी आणि कितीतरी नुकसान होते पण जेव्हा या एडव्हान्स टेक्नॉलॉजी नव्हत्या तेव्हा मात्र आमच्या पूर्वजांनी आपल्या कौशल्याच्या जोरावर जे काही निर्माण केलं ते बहुदा आधुनी तंत्रज्ञानाला सुद्धा साध्य होणार नाही

        आज आपण अश्याच एका भुईकोटाची माहीत घेणार आहोत खरं तर त्याच्या नावातच किल्ल्याच सर्व सार  काही  येत उस्मानाबाद जिल्ह्यातील नळदुर्ग हा भुईकोटांच्या विश्वातील क्षेत्रफळाच्या दृष्टीने सर्वात मोठा किल्ला, नावा प्रमाणेच नल आणि दमयंती च्या कथेचा सार त्यात जाणवतो..

किल्ल्याची रचना फार सुरेख, किल्ल्याच्या आता प्रवेश करतांना गोमुखी पद्धतिचे रचना असणारे दरवाजे लागतात मुख्य दरवाज्यावर खूप सुंदर कोरीव काम आढळते..

 पहिले दोन दरवाजे पार केल्यानंतर नागमोडी वळण घेऊन किल्ल्याचा मुख्य दरवाजा लागतो या रस्त्याने जातांना किल्ल्याचे 50 फुटी मुख्य परकोट अगदी डोळे दिपवून टाकतात..

 एक भला मोठा बुरुंज आणि आत गेल्यावर पर्यटकांना बसायला खूप सुंदर असा दगडी बेंच, समोर दोन तोफा आणि पुढं पाहताच आपण एखाद्या सुंदर बागेत प्रवेश करावा असे दृश्य...

       खर तर आमच्यासारख्या दुर्ग वेड्यांना किल्ल्याची अशी अवस्था कधीच अभिप्रेत नसते आमचं मन रमत ते दगड धोंड्यात, बुरुंजात, उध्दव वास्तुत हे सर्व भकास चित्र बघणारे आमचे डोळे जेव्हा नळदुर्ग पाहायला लागले तेव्हा मात्र त्या किल्ल्यावर आम्हाला परके पणाचा भाव जाणवत होता..

खरं तर किल्ला खूपच सुंदर सुशोभित करण्यात आला होता. लॉन , झाळे, वेगवेगळ्या फुलांचे झाडे, मनमोहन अश्या वास्तू, हे सर्व आमच्यासाठी नवीन होत वास्तूवर केलेलं प्लास्टर, तोफांवर केलेली कलरिंग, रस्त्याच्या दुतर्फा मेहंदी, खूप खूप सुंदर अस ते दृश्य होत...

       सरळ चालत गेल्यावर एक मोठा बुरुंज दिसला साधारणतः 100 एक पायऱ्या चढल्यावर पूर्ण किल्ल्यावरचे विहंगम अस दृश्य दिसलं...

 समोरून येणारी नदी त्या नदीच पाणी वळवून किल्ल्याच्या मधोमध तयार केलेला तलाव.... 

त्या तलावा मूळ झालेले किल्ल्याचे दोन भाग आणि या दोन्ही भागांना जोडणारा एक मोठाजात पूल, या बुरुंजावर जस वर चढलो तशी एक भली मोठी तोफ नजरेस पडली अन...

फोटो काढण्यासाठी त्या तोफेवर बसलेले प्रेमी युगल मन आणखी खिन्न झालं, इतिहासाविषयी इतकी अनास्था तरुण पिढीच्या मनात दिसली की इतिहास येणाऱ्या पिढीपर्यंत पोहोचविण्यासाठी आपण कुठंतरी कमी पडतोय याची जाणीव झाली..

त्या बुरुंजा वरून पाहत असतांना वास्तविकता नजरेस पडली, की किल्ल्याचा मधला भागच सुशोभित होतोय पण परकोट मात्र ढासळत आहेत..

त्या बुरुंजाच्या एक कोपऱ्यात आतमध्ये उतरायला संकुचित अशी वाट होती आम्ही सर्व त्यात शिरलो आणि बुरुंजाच्या आत गेलो, आत छोटी अशी टेहळणीसाठी खोली होती तिथे बसून पहारेकरी सर्वत्र लक्ष ठेवत असे

      खाली उतरल्यावर मात्र मला वेध लागले ते जल महाला चे आज पर्यंत त्याच्या सुंदरतेची ख्याती एकूण होतो, खर तर पावसाळ्यात ते सुन्दर दृश्य पाहायला इथं लाखो पर्यटक गर्दी करतात..

 त्यामुळं मी पुढं तलावाकडे जायला सुरवात केली , आधीच सांगितल्या प्रमाणे हाच तो पूल पूल कुठं हाच तो महाल आश्चर्य म्हणजे या पुलाच्या आत मोठ्या खोल्या काढल्या आहेत...

पावसाळ्यात तलाव जेव्हा ओसंडून वाहायला लागतो तेव्हा या आतमधल्या खोल्यात बसून स्वर्गीय दृश्य पाहायला मिळते, पाण्याची एक अजस्त्र चादर पूर्ण पुल आच्छादित करते..

अशी रचना या पुलाच्या आत निर्माण केली आहे खरं तर तर दृश्य शब्दांत सांगणं कठीण ते प्रत्यक्ष अनुभवावच लागेल , या पुलात दोन मोठ्या खोल्या आहेत...

 एक खोली ही राज परिवारासाठी असेल कारण त्याची बांधकाम शैली तितकी सुंदर आहे त्यात जुन्या काळातील शौचकूप सुद्धा पाहायला मिळतात..

 पावसाळ्यात धरण ओव्हरफूल झाले की तेथील धबधबे चालू होतात विशेष म्हणजे येथील रचना एवढी जबरदस्त आहे..

की एका धबधब्याचे पाणी पांढरे शुभ तर  दुसऱ्या धबधब्याचे पाणी हिरवट असे दिसतात खूप वेळ पर्यंत तिथं मन रमत तिथून समोरच्या नदीकडे एकसारखं पाहत राहावं..

 मन त्या नैसर्गिक सौंदर्यात रमून जात वेळ कसा निघून यातो याच भान सुद्धा आपल्याला राहत नाही किल्यात पाहण्यासाठी भरपूर काही आहे..

 त्या करिता संपूर्ण दिवस हाताशी पाहिजे तरी किल्ले बांधणीचा उत्तम नमुना म्हणून एकदा तरी या किल्ल्याला भेट दिलीच पाहिजे...!!

The structure of the fort is very beautiful. At the entrance of the fort, there are doors with Gomukhi style design. There is a very beautiful carving work on the main door.

 After crossing the first two gates, take a serpentine turn and enter the main gate of the fort.

In fact the fort was very beautifully decorated.  The lawns, the bushes, the different flowering plants, the Manmohan Vastu, all these are new to us.

 After walking straight, I saw a big bastion. After climbing about 100 steps, I saw a panoramic view of the entire fort.

 The river coming in front is a lake created in the middle of the fort by diverting water from that river ....

 The two parts of the fort where the lake originates and a large bridge connecting these two parts, as we climbed on this bastion, a huge cannon was seen and ...

 The minds of the loving couple sitting on the gun to take photos became even more depressed, so much apathy about history appeared in the minds of the young generation that they realized that we are falling short somewhere to pass on the history to the next generation.

 While looking from that bastion, the reality was seen that only the middle part of the fort is being beautified but the forts are crumbling.

 There was a narrow waiting area in one corner of the bunker. We all got into it and went inside the bunker.

 However, when I came down, I noticed that Jal Mahala is still famous for its beauty. In fact, in the rainy season, millions of tourists flock here to see the beautiful scenery.

 So I started walking towards the lake, as mentioned earlier, this is the bridge, this is the palace.

 In the rainy season, when the lake begins to overflow, you can sit in this inner room and see the heavenly view, a huge sheet of water covers the entire bridge.

 Such a structure has been created inside this bridge. In fact, it is difficult to say in visual words that it will be a real experience. This bridge has two large rooms ...

 A room will be for the royal family because of its beautiful architectural style..

When the dam overflows in the rainy season, the waterfalls start flowing, especially because the structure here is so strong...

The water of one waterfall looks white and the water of another waterfall looks green.
